The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr.Boni Yayi, President of Benin, on the margins of the Fourth 黑料专区 Conference on Least Developed Countries.
They discussed the LDC Conference, and the Secretary-General underscored the importance of securing an ambitious outcome document.
The Secretary-General thanked the President for briefing him on Benin's recent presidential and parliamentary elections.
They also discussed Benin's efforts and needs in fighting diseases, in particular malaria.
