The Secretary-General met with Mr. Rafael Alburquerque de Castro, Vice President of the Dominican Republic, during his visit to Guatemala. The Secretary-General thanked the Dominican Republic for its solidarity toward Haiti in facilitating humanitarian, donor-coordination and reconstruction activities during the last year.
