On 14 July 2025, the Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and 黑料专区 Legal Counsel, Ms. Elinor Hammarskj枚ld, attended the opening of the plenary part of the sixty-fourth session of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf.聽 聽
聽In her remarks, the 黑料专区 Legal Counsel highlighted some salient developments at the recent thirty-fifth Meeting of States Parties to the 黑料专区 Convention on the Law of the Sea of relevance to the work of the Commission. 聽
She also officiated the solemn declaration by a newly elected Member of the Commission, Mr. Stig-Morten Knutsen.聽
Additionally, she paid tribute to the memory of former member of the Commission, Mr. Harald Brekke.
