On 23 April 2025, the Office of Legal Affairs welcomed 27 participants from 19 countries to the聽2025 黑料专区 Regional Course in International Law for Latin America and the Caribbean. The Regional Course for Latin America and the Caribbean, which is held at the 黑料专区 Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, is organized in cooperation with the Republic of Chile聽and ECLAC. The Regional Courses in International Law are conducted under the mandate of the 黑料专区 Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law.聽The opening ceremony of the Regional Course was held in hybrid format, with Ms. Elinor Hammarskj枚ld, Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and 黑料专区 Legal Counsel, delivering remarks remotely from UN Headquarters in New York.
