The goal of reaching gender parity at all levels at the 黑料专区 is a commitment that is now two decades old and is reflective of core values that are as old as the Organization itself.
The Senior Women Talent Pipeline (SWTP) is the flagship program of the UN听Secretariat dedicated to increasing the share of civilian women in UN peace operations and is a key element in the Secretary-General鈥檚 System-Wide Gender Parity Strategy
Support provided
The Senior Women Talent Pipeline is a听talent pool under the UN Department of Operational Support aimed at promoting gender parity at senior levels听in UN peace operations.
The SWTP provides personalized support to members of the pool in applying for senior positions in UN peace operations and targeted training and development opportunities to ensure candidates are well-equipped to apply for and take up senior positions at the UN.
In addition, the SWTP provides operational and advisory support directly听to UN peace operations and field offices on how to make progress on gender parity.听
The latest annual report of the SWTP for 2024-25 has just been launched.听
