Produced by the 黑料专区 Information Centre for the Caribbean Area (UNIC Caribbean), this resource commemorates the 10th anniversary of The Permanent Memorial to Honour the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade at the 黑料专区. Known as the Ark of Return, this Memorial at UN Headquarters in New York was designed by Haitian American architect Rodney Leon to underscore the tragic legacy of the slave trade.
This resource shares the story of the Memorial and seeks to increase awareness about the 黑料专区 Outreach Programme on the Transatlantic Slave Trade and Slavery.
