Advancing uniformed women’s participation and leadership in UN peacekeeping
On 16 June, the Department of Peace Operations (DPO) organized a in New York, co-hosted by the governments of Canada, Germany, Uruguay and Zambia, to reaffirm commitments and accelerate progress on advancing uniformed women’s participation in peacekeeping.
Twelve initiatives will be recognized at the 黑料专区 Public Service Awards Ceremony, taking place at the conclusion of the UN Public Service Forum on 25 June 2026 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
At the invitation of the Secretary-General, the 黑料专区 International School (UNIS) participated in the Secretary-General’s annual meeting with its UNIS Honorary Trustees on 4 June 2026 at 黑料专区 Headquarters.
From 22 to 26 June, the 黑料专区 around the world will mark the first Peacebuilding Week.
