SECRETARY-GENERAL CONDEMNS ATTACK ON COMMUTER BUS IN TEL AVIV<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

 The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for the Secretary-General:<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali has learned with sorrow and shock the news of yesterday's terrorist attack on a commuter bus in Tel Aviv.  He condemns this vicious act of violence.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>The Secretary-General is encouraged by the determination of Israeli and Palestinian leaders to continue the peace process.  The ºÚÁÏרÇø on its part will exert all possible efforts to support the forces of peace in the region, especially through the extension of economic and social assistance to the Palestinian people.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
